The location of the hotel is perfect! In a very quiet marina. From the very roomy balcony we had a view of the beautiful Aegean Sea. The hotel has a parking, which was pretty empty when we were at the hotel, but the hotel clerk told us that in high season it's more difficult to find a parking spot. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities. All the public areas were also pristine, and the hotel has a very roomy lift to the floors. We would like to also highlight the responsiveness of the front desk clerk, who was very welcoming checking us in, and kind to our request of ceramic cups for coffee. The rooms are equipped with the Nespresso coffee machines, but there is only disposable paper cups provided. Nevertheless, the gentleman kindly and promptly brought us the cups up to the room. Sad that we didn't get a chance to ask for his name. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and a breakfast the next morning. Both meals were superb, the atmosphere of the restaurant very warm and casual, and the employees were taking really good care of us, and were very amiable.

Everything was perfect - the room, the breakfast, the yard has a lot of trees that make shade and it's very nice, the beach is nearby and the staff is great! I recommend! We will visit again!

Had the sauna for ourselves as there weren't many more guests. Sparkling clean and tastefully decorated. Owner is super nice!

Just steps away from a pebbly beach, the seafront Hotel Alkyonis is located in Platamonas town. Its units offer a terrace or balcony with mountain or various sea views. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

When you are making a booking you have two options: book a renovated room with the view or book standard room. We decided to go for a standard room since it was cheaper and honestly, it was great. You can tell that renovation was made quite a while ago but the room was in an amazing condition, it was clean and everything was functioning just right and the stuff of the hotel were simply amazing, very friendly and helpful, they have recommend us where to park and during breakfast in the morning when they ran out of eggs they so nicely purchased more and fixed us new portion in just 10 minutes! The beach is basically 1 minute apart from the hotel and they even provide beach beds and umbrellas so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own
