Fantastic location (hidden gem) overlooking the local lake, had evening meal on restaurant terrace lakeside food/service was outstanding, reception staff fantastic/welcoming (good English) excellent quality and value. Worth noting Mergozzo is slightly away from lake Maggiore but quieter more intimate and much better value. Mergozzo is a fantastic place to spend a couple of days, also good for enjoyable overnight if travelling via Simplon pass, will stay again.

Friendly and personable staff. Beautiful room with lake view and balcony. Large bathroom and shower. Dinner at the DL was excellent as was the included breakfast. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here.
