Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)

Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Lovely twin suites shared with son and partner. Superb food and the staff were exceptional throughout our trip. Also superb value for money.

I had an amazing experience at Splendour Grand – honestly, it was even better than the resorts I’ve visited in the Maldives. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with anything. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy, the food was delicious, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. What made it even more special is that you can often find yourself enjoying the beach all to yourself, and if you ever need a hand, everyone is there to support each other. Truly a perfect stay – I highly recommend it!

AYIRA hotel has everything you can ask for! The room is very nice and modern and the bed is really comfortable. The bathroom is amazing, everything new and working properly. I particularly enjoyed the nice hot showers. The breakfast is delicious and they are very flexible with time in case you need it. But the best thing about the hotel, without a doubt, is the lovely family that runs the hotel. Amjad (the hotel owner) awaits and welcomes you upon arrival. He explains everything about the island (bikini beach, shops, restaurants). He shows you around the island and makes sure you have everything you need or ask for. I cannot be more grateful to Amjad who made my stay in Feridhoo the best experience on a local Maldivian island. He even helped me with my upcoming move to a different island and made sure I was there. Besides that, the people in Feridhoo are very friendly and kind. We definitely felt at home and we recommend AYIRA hotel 100%!

Beautiful island, splendid beach with corals and many fish

It is an incredibly beautiful place with very friendly and accommodating staff. truly wonderful experience from every perspective. No wishes were unaddressed. Our special thanks goes to Claire and her team that made us feel simply blessed to be there.

The resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive. Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food. We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommend this resort for couples.

Razeen, the manager and his team (including the owner of the Shifa Lodge) always fulfilled our wishes, whether earlier breakfast due to our divings or organizing boat excursions. The boat transfers from and to Male were perfectly arranged. Razeen's family owns a few guesthouses on the island and the boat for excursions and transfer is also in the family's property. The dinner buffet at nearby Castaway guesthouse was very rich, as well as the breakfast at Shifa Lodge. If you favor a stay on an island with locals and you do not need the luxury of a resort, you are right here. Everything on the island is in walking distance. If you are diver, we recommend Noohiri dive center (Nitrox only, we made the certificate with them). The island provides good snorkeling areas at the east side, you can encounter guitar sharks patroling in shallow water. We will come again.

Ideal accommodation option. A clean and comfortable room that has everything you need: a comfortable bed, ample storage space, a refrigerator and even a safe. Nice bathroom. The room was cleaned immediately after our request. The nearest exit to the sea is just 2 minutes on foot. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the bikini beach, and they also provide beach towels. Ali and his family were very hospitable and always helped with any questions. From the hotel owner we learned a lot of important and interesting information about the culture and traditions of the locals, we even talked about politics :) Before we left, Ali prepared a free amazing traditional Maldivian dinner for us, it was amazing! The hotel also has very tasty local breakfasts; we ate only them during our stay. Thanks to Ali and his family, we will definitely return to Feridhoo!
