My experience at Stay Mikado was perhaps the best of my life. Not only was I taken care of and supported in every possible way, but I also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people and truly experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the Maldives. 🌴🌊 First and foremost, Ameen is a remarkable human being and the best host you could wish for. From the moment I arrived, he arranged and adapted everything for a smooth arrival, a splendid stay, and an easy departure. He has crafted a sanctuary at Stay Mikado, ensuring that everyone has the best possible experience. We went surfing 🏄‍♂️, snorkeling 🤿, and even visited his private island for an even more exquisite adventure that you wouldn't normally access so easily (see attached photos). With every activity, he made sure to stay in harmony with nature. He knows which animals to touch, which ones to observe, and which ones to leave alone. Whether above or below water, Ameen ensures your safety—no need to worry if you're afraid of sharks! 😉🦈 He knows the islands like the back of his hand, and his expertise is evident in every interaction. Ameen’s team, who prepared delicious food at the restaurant 🍽️, drove us to snorkeling spots 🚤, and assisted with luggage, provided service that was beyond excellent. The hotel itself is incredibly luxurious, especially for the price. There is also a restaurant on-site, and if you fancy karaoke, you can enjoy that too 🎤. If I could give 20 stars, I would ⭐️. And I have stayed in many places, but this is now my absolute number one recommendation. So, if you visit the Maldives, I can only urge you to come here. Not even a resort can match the value offered at Stay Mikado. This experience will fill your heart as it did mine. Stay Mikado is home for me, and I will certainly come back. Big room, big bed, 3 showers, AC+fan. Delicious food, nice staff, many activities.

This is a great place to stay. The island isn’t swarmed by tourist as it is quiet far out, which does make it more expensive to get to, however once you are there it is very cheap. This company offered us great activities for really cheap prices, we went dolphins watching on a boat which was magical and cost about £10 when we went to a different island later on they tried charging £70 for the same activity. The staff are friendly and they serve food on the top floor of the hotel. There is also another hotel on the island which has a pool table and other pub games. Everyone met here on a nightly bases and it had a real sense of community.

Lovely overall. Outstanding and true caring service, superb food (incredible logistics to bring those ingredients that far), well appointed vilas in minimalistic yet luxurious style. Personnel did everything they could to make our stay memorable, being flexible, creative and anticipating our needs. Zayan was an excellent butler, discrete but affective. Marine life abundant and accesible. Very well maintained island with palm trees. Outstanding spa and free yoga every day. The sea plane company they use (Manta Air) is reliable and flies despite rain and thunderstorms, surprisingly smooth. Excellent barista coffee every morning!
