We are all amazed, it was beyond our expectations *beautiful beach * friendly approachable staff *the hotel prepared a lot of food for our tour *delicious breakfast * attentive staff and helpful *peaceful and facilities are well handled *clean pool * family-friendly *eco-friendly environment *many activities to do every day *very clean surroundings *clean and tidy rooms *very strong and fast wifi, can be connected in every areas splendid, highly commendable I will be back with my family here again. The house is very nice, the rooms were clean and the location was spot on. Anthony and Maila (house staff) made our stay so comfortable, they were always available, even to call a local massage therapist for us. Will definitely come back!

Super good location. Right in the hopping area of the beach…but a 1 minute walk north and it’s super isolated. The staff are so nice…the nicest hotel staff ever. The room was clean with a really nice hot water shower. And the cleaning staff kept it spotless. Finally…I love the bar and restaurant. I used to go to this bar all the time back in 2012. Back then it was the only cool bar on the beach. But even with all the new places on Panglao now, Alona Vida still stands out…good live music at night, and I love the food there (pancit canton was super masarap!)…it’s my favorite place to sit at night and work on my computer over some food and beer. Breakfast was also great. I had a mix omelette every day…I could eat those 4x a day and never get tired of them lol My only suggestion is maybe have the staff check after a while to see if you need more coffee etc. A bit slow on prep time too. But that’s not a complaint…time stands still on a beach. Anyway, I’ll be back for another visit before I leave the Phils. Love this place.

Most of all, the owner/staff were outstanding, amazing humans. Whatever we needed, they took care of it, and provided us with so much extra info, extra help, extra local food and snacks to try. We felt like we had a Filipino mom. Definitely a highlight. The breakfast every day was prepared with so much love. The location is great as well, about 15 minutes away by tricycle from the famous Alona beach and all the tourism hustle bustle (in case you want to go island hopping or diving or want more international food), all while there is a perfect beautiful quiet white beach right in front of the resort. We liked our beach much more than Alona beach. The rooms were very thoroughly cleaned, perfect budget resort.
