The food as well. It is just a few meters from the beach (quite part).

The entire property was so clean and so well maintained. The communication with management and property staff were top notch. They responded anytime day or night. The building was safe with security cameras and secure front gate door with coded entry. The Wifi was better than my Rogers at home in Ontario Canada. Fully functional kitchen made cooking some meals a breeze.

The homestay has family rooms. Great place run by a lovely lady. If you look for a place in playa Carrillo or Samara do not further this is the right place to stay. 2 minute to playa Carrillo and 15 to Samara. Surrounded by a lovely forest of palms. TOP LOCATIONS

Samara Beach is 700 metres from the hostel. Nosara Airport is 25 km away. I loved this hostel ! It looks like a little house that you share with nice people. The staff is very sympathic, just like the other hosts. The kitchen is well equiped. The bedrooms are comfortable. The location is good : a little but far from the center (10-15min by foot) but so also far from the noise. I saw a lot of iguanas around the house. I also appreciated the decoration of the hostel, very hostful. In conclusion, I really loved this place, I totally recommand, and if I come back to Samara I'll come back here for sure ! :)

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The location is great, very close to restaurants and the beach but also quiet. It's nice to have a living room + kitchen and balconies. Beds were comfortable + AC in the bedrooms is enjoyable. There is everything in the flat if you need to cook.

It’s calm, coziness, cleanliness, proximity to the beach and main interests in tamarindo. The design and minimalistic room ! Perfect I so recommend it

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has a hot tub and a concierge service. Incredible value, you could easily pay twice this for the stay, don’t let the low price pit you off, you are getting a bargain! location very close to beach, lovely owners who went the extra mile. The owner, who works very hard to keep the property in good condition and customers happy, very kindly did a load of washing for us at no charge which was very much appreciated. Beautiful breakfast which was also plentiful and served to order. Beach supplies such as beach towels, bug spray, body boards and deck chairs also available to borrow which was very useful and kind.

Refugio Surf Lodge in Tamarindo provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. The property features pool and garden views, and is 300 metres from Tamarindo Beach. The bed and breakfast offers inner courtyard views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.
