One of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka. We stayed there for 2 nights but were really sorry we didn't stay longer in the end. The rooms are perfect for someone who wants to enjoy Arugam bay, stay close to all cafes, restaurants, as well as the beach, and still wants some comfort. The accommodation is located on the main street in Arugam Bay but somehow still closed off enough that it remains peaceful. The rooms were clean, bathroom and shower amazing, beds veeeery comfortable and the AC perfect. The curtains keep the light out really well which is great if you like to sleep in in the morning. The hosts are very kind and were constantly asking if we have everything we need. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Arugam Bay!

The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

The rooms are right on the main street at Arugam Bay, meaning you’re one turn away from most shops and eateries. We didn’t have to use an auto rickshaw the entire time we stayed. The rooms are standard for Arugam Bay in general, but very clean, relatively quiet at night and with good AC. Last but definitely not least, the host/housekeeper Mo was gracious, diligent and respectful. He goes the extra mile to help his guests with anything they ask, and deserves all credit for his great service. Big ups and all five stars to Mo and the team!

The inside is not very modern but is clean, with comfortable beds and AC. The staff is very caring, friendly and helpful. The food there is delicious and comes with a nice view. Lastly the hotel provides all kind of services to lift you stay such as laundry services, tuktuk services (if you need to go to arugam bay) or connexions to book surf lessons or a safari tour.

Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

We loved everything: the room, the pool, the food, the beach, the staff,... we even booked an extra night. It was wonderful. We booked a lagoon boat trip and a safari in Kumana National Park and we were amazed by the amount of animals we've seen. We took a yoga and a pilates class too. Would definitely come back here!!
