Palatupana Beach is 200 metres from O2 Villas Yala, while Tissa Wewa is 17 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 44 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We were a family with two granddaughters 3 & 5 and the staff went over and above to make the children and us feel welcome and pampered!! The manager Madhawa was kind, helpful, efficient and very competent!! Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!

Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais and Chateaux - All Inclusive is adjacent to the famous Yala National Park, renowned for its dense leopard population. This luxury tented camp is situated where the jungle meets a pristine beach, overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The architecture and the design is so tastefully done , it blends in with the environment. The staff and the service is on point, we were travelling with our 2 year old daughter. The staff collected our baby’s lactose free milk and served it back boiled punctually despite inclement weather conditions , both morning and evening. The attention to detail of our dietary requirements in all the meals is another call-out. We would love to visit here again .

We could go for hours talking about Beach Bungalow Yala and especially its people. babu, Roshan and the team are the best people we met in Srilanka and probably in the world. They are kind, generous, genuine, sweet, smiling all the time. The stay was unforgettable in everything, the place itself is heaven on earth, the food is wonderful, the beach, the dogs, the cats… and again what made everything special was the energy of the people. We will never forget them in our entire life and we are coming again to stay here and to visit them.

Situated in Kirinda, close to Nidangala Beach, Garnet Yala Beach features accommodation with garden, bike hire, a private beach area, a terrace and a restaurant. The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

Excellent place and service, Shoane, the owner was taking care of everything, great food and room. We also took the Safari with him , saw all the animals.

Treasure Rock, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kirinda, a few steps from Nidangala Beach, 15 km from Tissa Wewa, as well as 24 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I did not stay here while in Kirinda due to limited space (the owner and I connected on Whatsapp and he helped in finding me another property nearby) but most of the people in my group did. I wanted to write a review based on my experience with the property and the communication with the host when they realized that they were double booked. We had dinner for 16 there and it was amazing. The Host family is great and the property is in an amazing location. My friends that stayed there loved it. It’s a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but from what I could see it’s worth it!

The staff were all so kind and helpful and the food was incredible, the best we have had in Sri Lanka and a fantastic variety! All meals, drinks and safari are included, a very special place!

Built in 2012, the property includes hot tub and hot spring bath. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean and the aircon was great. The breakfasts were fabulous and all other meals were very tasty!! The grounds were kept very clean. Staff were friendly.
