There is free shuttle service at the property. From the beginning of our stay at La Romantica, Robert was the perfect host. He went out of his way to accommodate our family. Very helpful and informative about the location, things to do, restaurants. My son's favorite was the recommendation of "La Piazza". He loved the Empanadas! My favorite restaurant was the restaurant at Hotel Gerald, excellent. My favorite beach was the beach next to the airport strip, "Playa Galeon". My two children were delighted to be able to go snorkelling with the snorkling equipment Robert provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, very much enjoyed the tray of fresh fruit, with cheese and cold cuts variation and of course choice of how you wanted your eggs, it was a great start to our day. It was also lovely to have the golf cart parked outside to door, no hassle with trying to find someplace to rent one. I believe golf cart is the only mode of transport around the small island of Contadora. Thank you again Robert for being the perfect host! Regina, Paul, Molly, & Ryan.

Activities in the surrounding area include snorkeling, fishing, and scenic ocean tours. Friendly staff and great breakfast! We loved that we could bring our fur baby with us. Pool was very nice to hang out in during the day.

The closest beach to the house is Playa Ejecutiva, a 10-minute walk away or less than 5 minutes by golf cart. Playa Cacique beach can also be reached in a 10-minute walk.

Complimentary WiFi is offered. The manager greeted us as soon as we arrived, very much appreciated we were spoken in English! Good direction on how everything worked. Pleasant music in dining area was so relaxing and the food for welcome was a nice surprise! Very organized and so clean! Furniture was very comfortable. Beds were a very important thing for me, but they were comfortable & fresh! Including pillows. The cabins were impeccably clean!!! Not even a speck of sand. No unpleasant smells in cabin either. Just clean & relaxing. The porch was perfect for a private seating space. ❤️

The apartment with a terrace and sea views features 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms with a shower. Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. The property has an outdoor dining area. Location is incredible, very close to dock. The porch is a major high point, we enjoyed cool breezes in the morning and evening with our coffee. We booked this property in particular for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on different floors so we didnt hear each other snoring nor require a bathroom schedule. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water. The TV is high quality. Frig is large and held excellent temp. Location is a short golf cart ride (highly recommend) to Playa Cacique (we took the loft's gravity chairs and 1 beach towel each to the beach so no rental fees for chairs or umbrella) and ate breakfast at that hotel's restaurant ($50 for 2 omelets, bacon, toast, coffee and oj). Beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning kept very cool/cold in the main areas, what a relief from the humidity. Michaela and Elena were both very responsive, addressed our needs quickly and pleasantly, and endeavored to make our stay great.

Snorkelling equipment rental, tour desk, and laundry services are offered. Golf Cart rental is possible on site as well as free parking. Some activities that guests can practice while at Casa del Sol are fishing, whale watching, snorkelling, island hopping and visiting the tranquil beaches that are app 500 metres from the property.
