Situated in São Tomé in the Sao Tome Island region and Ize Beach reachable within 500 metres, GENTE D'AQUI Ngê D'ai êê features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Due to an unforeseen change of plans, we booked our stay just a few hours before arriving. Joao contacted me right away via WhatsApp to let us know he wouldn’t be there initially, but he made sure someone was expecting us and ready to greet us. This excellent communication continued throughout our stay. Joao’s hospitality was the standout—he was always available for anything we needed and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, bread and eggs, (and even soya yoghurt—which he had gone out especially to get for me as a vegetarian) Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, and we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep—I slept really well here. The location is in a village, and although we don’t speak Portuguese, the locals were very friendly. We even enjoyed a drink at the local bar and felt very safe the entire time.

This is an exceptional place to stay it is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, the views are spectacular and you fall asleep lullabied by the ocean. My favourtie place in a two week trip to STP. The staff are very helpful and Tiziano the owner is so great and was on hand to help with planning. The food was also delicious.

Booked here for my friends and me this week and our stay was wonderful! Kenito & his staff go out of their way to assist clients. Note however if you are an English-only speaker, communication with the staff is going to be hard. Great all-around services otherwise!

At the resort, the rooms come with a desk and a balcony with a garden view. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Gombela Ecolodge and Farming also feature a sea view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Amazing place with beautiful location. The staff is great and food very delicious. The road to get there is a bit difficult but if you have a good car or an arranged transport, no problem. There is limited electricity and only cold water but that didn't bother us at all. The whole experience in this peaceful place was just perfect.

I didn't even have to request it. Soon after I sat at a table I was served by an ample sort of food. Local fruits, ham, cheeze, and more. I tried several kinds of brewed tea. For those that love lemon, I suggest to try the Chalela tea :). The location is slightly away from the city center, about 5 minutes from car. This both gave me a calm area for sleep and relaxation, and made it quick to get there whenever I needed, which suited my needs perfectly.

We were safe and blessed to be there. We thoroughly recommend this hotel without a doubt. The food was excellent and fresh. Thank you ever so much for having us. We are coming back for sure.
