The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was clean and neat with premium amenities. The house itself is so neat and quaintly decorated. Bill also made a lovely breakfast for us, we appreciated the home cooked food!

Hosts were very welcoming. The unit is well equipped, very spacious, and clean. The continental breakfast excellent. Set in a peaceful rural location we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds outside the window.

Easy to find, not far out of Port Alberni. Very quiet and our cabin was spotless with lots of space. Well equipped mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, bowls, plates, mugs. Naomi kindly gave us a chopping board and knives. Best to bring own cutlery, which I’d forgotten! Naomi’s advice and knowledge of the area and the drive to Tofino was invaluable. She was so friendly and welcoming. Close to Sproat Lake for safe swimming in an idyllic location.

Fabulous location, very helpful staff. This was a one night stay. I wish I had longer time here. You need a car to get to the location.

Everything, Yvonne and Bob are wonderful host. Kind and always available to make your stay enjoyable. We were surprised of the space for us. It's so big, it feels like to be in your own appartment. The breakfast was delicious too. I would highly recommend to have a stop to Berkie if you wish to visit Vancouver Island. It feels like it's home

We spent two nights at this small hostel. We had the whole common area for ourselves as it was a weekday during low season. The host is very friendly and quick to check with us if everything was fine. The room was comfortable and everything was clean. The wifi works really well and it has a cozy reading/tv room. The location was good to move around with the car. Easy, large and free parking facilities on-site. Kitchen utensils were enough and in good working condition.
