Amazing location. You get the castle to yourself. Thunderstorm at night we stayed lit up the room, four poster bed, suits of armour and antique furnishings with lightning. Very Hammer Horror like! Views over the town and river with walking in a riverside park and footpath were ideal for dog. Parking is inside the castle behind the portcullis.

Very friendly people working there. Hosts are perfect organized as a Team. The Bar war so cool with its vintage soccer bar charme, because it is possible to play cards there in the evening, take some drinks and also eat. The menues from the dinner card taste as good as from grandma (Fries are excellent!!). The rooms are nice with a awesome view into the mountains and very clean. The breakfast was great, because there was much high quality fruits and vegetables like straw- and blueberrys, Meat, eggs, Joghurts and also salmon. The sauna is another plus. All in all the price is totally fine for what we got. We will come back!

Great place to stay in Nideggen. Lovely modern hotel on the very edge of the old walled village making it a 2 minute walk to the centre. The hotel owner was the perfect host and we will try and stay longer next time.

We had a lovely stay in Villa Burgau, we were welcomed in the most friendly manner and had a wonderful breakfast. The Villa is located a 5min walk from the central market in Monschau and it's very easy to park your car close to the villa. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a small but decent bathroom. Would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone visiting Monschau.
