Fantastic Nubian style house hotel with amazing views. We Aussies -found the tranquillity of this location welcome after busy tourist filled daily adventures in Aswan surrounds, especially the rooftop at sunset. Sied, the Wanas family and their employees are lovely, humble and hospitable. Breakfast is generous. We fully recommend having dinner onsite. Mama Wanas's cooking was the most authentic food we experienced in our 3 weeks in Egypt, (especially Molokia). A shout out also to their drivers including Abdul for all the fun trips and your patience. Tania and Louis.

Location of the hotel is easy to find by car, and it’s closer to the port for boats to go to Philae Island temple and other attractions. Politeness of the staff specially the manager Hilmi was great, a man with full of wisdom, Etiquettes and helpfulness.

The owner, JJ, and his team were very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable and they organized a trip to Abu Simbel for me. When I got sick, they postponed the trip by a day, so I had time to get back in shape. JJ's wife also served me the strongest ginger tea I have ever had, to get me back up. Days later, while I was staying at another place, I walked past the hotel again and JJ spontaneously invited me to a dinner they were throwing for a group of guests. Thanks a lot!

Lovely stay with included breakfast, on top of a beautiful roof with a view of other rooftops. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere; we actually spent a lot of time in the sofa area on the roof. Bibo was an excellent host for us, communicated often and arranged for things like breakfast time and dinner. The place is an excellent value, and the room was very new and clean, with a comfortable bed. Downstairs in the daytime is a cute shop with handmade goods.

The host was extremely warm and polite. Hospitality at its peak. Arrangement for various local trips (Aswan + Abu Simbel + Transfer to Luxor) were also taken care of by him at a decent price on short notice. Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

Very nice hospitality, really appreciate the helpful stuff for taking care of me , room is very clean and AC is working well , they can help you for arranging any trips around like Abu simple and Philae temples, the view from the balcony is amazing and it's just few meters from the public ferry, really enjoyed and will come back soon

    Seyid and his family were the most polite hosts ever. He treats you like family. He organised everything we were asking for for excellent price. Not trying to trick you or anything. The first night he invited us even for dinner. Everything is well prepared with a lot of love and you feel it. It's located in a very quiet area next to the Nile and it feels like a picture when you look outside. Price/value is outstanding.

    This was the most awesome place to wake up, overlooking the marina. Such a beautiful place to relax. Sied and his family are just beautiful, hospitable, friendly people who went out of their way to make my stay amazing. The boat is moored nearby for a private tour to the Temple of Philae and Sied also can arrange any other tour idea you may have. The food is amazing thanks to Sied's beautiful mum. I will definitely return

    The location was amazing, next to the Nile. It was peaceful and quiet away from the busy Aswan, but not too far if you want to visit the city. The owner is a great person, very helpful and caring. He's got his own boat, which allows to go easily to Philae temples, see the sunset or sunrise. It's up to you. His mom is a great cook : the red sauce with the potatoes is yummy. The room is clean and quiet. I had a view on the Nile directly from my bed.

    Great value for money. Beautiful location with a great view. Wanas is an incredibly friendly guy and super helpful. Whatever you need, he'll make it happen. We arrived late at night and he fixed us dinner which was 10/10. In the morning he had also arranged for private transport to Philae temple which helped us avoid the crowds. He then arranged transport to abu simbal. It's a very relaxing environment and wouldn't hesitate going there again. Thanks for everything, Wanas!

    Very nice hotel in a really peaceful village. With view in the lake, we could sit for hours watching the water and boats. The manager arranged several trips for us, to Abu simbel in a private car and a boat tour on the lake to visit Philae temple. He did a great job and was really nice to be here.
