Everything was very good - starting with the communication and helping us with a few of our minor issues. The room was clean and had basically everything we needed for our stay. The location is not far from the centre and we liked that because it meant easier access.

Everything is just perfect. The train station is just a five-minute walk, and the cathedral is about 15 minutes away. Even the shared rooms have a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and gas stove, and everything is organized. The bed is comfortable, and they offer you towels, which most hostels don't. The lady Mireille is kind and helpful. I would stay here if I visit Strasbourg again.

Sophie and Pasqual were fabulous hosts, providing breakfast, recommendations to Christmas markets in the area, and even helping us to secure a reservation for dinner one late evening. They went above and beyond to cater to our young child who said "I wish we could live here" when it was time to go (very high praise from a 7 year old boy). There home is a great base for anyone wanting to take in the Alsace region and was between 20 min- 2 hours to some of the best Christmas markets in the world...the purpose for our holiday this year. We will be back!
