Comfortable, easy to find. We were visiting Alton Towers for 2 days so great location. Excellent beer garden, restaurant choice of drinks and food. Very clean and comfortable rooms with excellent shower. Friendly staff.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lilacs. The room was beautifully situated facing the garden, and the view was tranquil, idyllic, and very relaxing. The bathroom was spotless and spacious, adding to the overall comfort. Tina, the host, was exceptionally helpful, offering great local advice and serving a delicious breakfast each morning. If you are looking for a genuine British B&B experience, I highly recommend The Lilacs. It is the perfect place to stay.

Welcoming host, nice location, lovely village and close to the wonderful walking area of Dovetail. Lots of restaurants close to Compton house. The breakfast was delicious.

The Dog and Partridge is a 17th-century inn just a 10-minute drive from Alton Towers, situated on the edge of the idyllic Peak District with countryside views.

The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The accomodation was in a separate chalet with parking outside. The staff were friendly. There was an area for walking our dog. We were made to be feel very welcome.

Sarah was the absolute perfect host- stellar breakfast all prepared for you...hot pastries and bread smells wafting up the stairs Bed extremely comfortable and it was wonderful to have a bath. Situated in a picture perfect sleepy village..Great escape for a couple of days.

We liked just about everything; from the friendly, helpful, visible owners and their great team, including restaurant, bar and domestic staff in the morning; tasty food for dinner and breakfast; warm, comfortable room; absolutely dog-friendly hotel; very reasonable bar prices; plenty of car parking. We had a superb overnight.

The Flowerpot is located in Derby, on the main A6 road in Derby City Cathedral Quarter. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV.

We booked this b&b because of the rave reviews it got. It deserves all of them. It was a magical place. Great location and the inside was just beautiful! We loved the family room (comfy beds, super clean, it has everything you could possibly need). Michael was very friendly. I could have sat in the breakfast room all day… the view, the decorations.. we loved it all.
