We were greeted warmly by our hostess Ladine . Our room was warm , spacious and beautifully decorated and had refreshments and magazines. The bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water and everything in it was immaculate .There was a lovely breakfast room decorated for Christmas and Ladine cooked a tasty hot breakfast for us . We were sorry we did not have time to use the inviting resident's room . We have no hesitation in recommending Carnbore House and hope to return there ourselves soon

I wish i had stayed 1 week & not just 2 nights. SO MUCH TO DO AROUND THERE. I didn't have a car, and they were so accommodating. Everything is so comfortable. And the owner lives there. So, there are no lock boxes. Breakfast is amazing. Bus 402 will take you up & down to great hikes & villages

The Causeway Tavern occupies a fantastic location for all the main sights. The owner is lovely, very engaging, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very nice, good shower, very comfortable bed. The breakfast is great, plenty of choice, generous portions and nicely presented. The bar is nice, good range of drinks and very fairly priced. There is plenty of free parking available.
