Naight house exceeded every expectation! Marie Claire and Richard have carefully curated the quintessential country cottage experience. The home is in a lovely setting, the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The breakfast is wonderful. Every detail was well thought out. Truly the perfect stay! My only regret is we only stayed 3 nights. You’ll be so happy you booked this slice of heaven! Thank you!

Great spacious pub with lots of seating, excellent food and good value for money, Nice friendly staff made us feel welcome . Lovely to see the horses and goats from our window. The main road is loud but not heard from our room at the back which overlooks the paddock.

i liked that the kitchen was available all the time so if we had wanted to we could have made dinner instead if eating out. Breakfast time there was plenty of choice to help yourself

This is a fantastic location and very beautiful, gorgeous bed-and-breakfast. The beds were the most comfortable we had on the entire trip! Mark and Mona were amazing. They provided wonderful breakfasts and gave us their a lot of help organizing things/getting ideas/what to do/where to go and helping us out with travel needs.

The staff were brilliant. Welcoming as soon as we walked in. They all had a busy afternoon with lunch, but were still able to make people checking in feel welcomed. Lauren and her team (Imogen, Freddy and Ollie) were very accommodating and would highly recommend going back.

St Michaels was clean, efficiently run, and I always felt there was someone around if I needed anything. The bonus milk and waters were very nice in the fridge outside the rooms. The decor was fun too, and of course you can't beat the location and views of the church or the beautiful rolling hills. Thank you for hosting us. We had a very sad occasion to be back in Painswick for and you made our pain a little easier. We will be back.
