It's a charming and quiet place fairly close to the station. Sue has maintained the place really well and we were given a hearty breakfast. There are also many good eating joints in the market nearby. Penrith is gorgeous!

Vicky was the perfect hostess, warmly welcoming us, everything was spotless and chosen in excellent taste. Breakfast was very tasty, both traditional and vegan and on arrival we much enjoyed the welcoming scones and shortbread. With quiet and spacious room, all within a few hundred yards of the lively center of Penrith this is an excellent starting point for the lake district as well as a convenient stop on a North South journey.

We loved this stay! Clean and comfortable rooms with such lovely and welcoming hosts. Based on Angela's recommendation we walked to the local pub for dinner, and it was really nice. We were also charmed by the gorgeous view of a field from our window.
