We expected a cosy accommodation in city B&B (pub),....and found so much more. A great place with very attentive and friendly staff. The room was very nice and stylish and the bed super comfy. Also worth mentioning is the bathroom which was rather spacious. Twice we had dinner at the hotel (ie. at the pub) and it truly was a fantastic and delicious experience. We can absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again should we come back to Tavistock.

A wonderful B&B in the centre of Tavistock. Lovingly furnished and caring hosts. Very nice location to explore Dartmoor and Tavistock. Nice garden and parking for free is also an asset.

Everything was perfect, especially the hosts who were amazing—kind, incredibly sweet, and always so helpful. They welcomed us with a beautiful room, a homemade sweet treat, and an excellent breakfast served in a lovely space. Outstanding food, some of the best meals we have had in Devon. The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.
