The staff! Bella was so sweet and helpful. So was the young man at the breakfast. The dinner (lamb) was excellent. I loved that the room had a bathtub - perfect after a long days hike.

Helpful and kind staff. Beers and dinner in the inn. Breakfast was enough for us (cereals with fresh milk), however someone could prefer a salty option. Bathroom with a bathtub.

It was a gorgeous inn. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The pub and restaurant were very charming. The dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious. It was not convenient for hiking Hadrian's Wall Path but was the closest place available. Totally worth the extra walking to get there!

The location was good, as we travelled from Australia, it was 5 minutes from the Airport, and a short walk to a Pub, which was excellent for food and close to some shops and coffee shops. the owners were fantastic and friendly.

We had booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay during our trip to Scotland. Location is perfect, parking and house are easy to find, there are pubs, takeaways and Lidl nearby. Both rooms and kitchen were big, very clean, tidy, and beds very omfortable. We received clear instructions for directions, parking and access to the house. We will definitely be back when going to Scotland or visiting the North East.
