B&Bs in Rio Dulce

The hotel is in the middle of the jungle which makes it really beautiful. You can explore everything by kayak (they are free), there is a swimming platform in the river and there are a lot of hammocks and seating areas in the hotel to just enojoy yourself. Although it's remote you can easily reach the town of rio dulce by boat which the hotel staff can arrange for you. The staff is really friendly and helpful - knowing spanish makes your life a lot easier, but some speak english or even german. You can get everything from water to food at the hotel. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean, there are mosquito nets over the beds and the fan is really powerful. Very good value for money!

This was an emergency stop, which I had not planned and the place felt great, I arrived around 8 pm and could get a very good rest after 15 hours of traffic jams. Very nice shower, comfy beds, free water refill. It looks like a really nice hostel, I am glad I stumbled upon it. If I revisit the region I would stay here again.
