Guesthouse Hvitafell was super clean, I loved it. The hot tub overlooking the valley was excellent and the bed was a 10. The kitchen has all you need, with tea and coffee complementary. All in all just an excellent place to stay in Laugar.

Very big and super clean room with everything you need, the breakfast is excellent and provides an opportunity to try some local products, sweet ginger bread is especially tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is close enough to the lake and you can also reach Húsavík quite fast. We got much more than expected!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The room was perfect for three people — very clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind and went out of his way to provide us with forks, spoons, and a can opener so we could have our meal in the room. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place!

The place si located in the middle of Akureyri city center, almost no noise in the corridors and the room apart from the outside. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and were very pretty. We had coffee and tea at our disposal. During our visit, we were able to enjoy the Forest Lagoon right at the East entrance of the city.
