Everything was just great, the food, the staff, the rooms,…!!! The cows were so cute and you’re always allowed to cuddle them. Our stay there was just perfect and the location around myvatn is fantastic!

Beds were very comfortable, (indeed every where we've stayed in Iceland has had very comfortable beds), room/bathroom very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great, buffet style continental with a good/tasty range of food. Our room faced out onto the lava field, literally 10m from the door.

Upon arriving at the location we were told that the hostel was under construction on short notice so they upgraded us to one of their cottages. The staff were very helpful and we had an amazing stay. Even though the weather wasn’t the best that day we still had a stunning view over the lava field and the lake.

I like the location of our cottage. It was close to the breakfast room and we had amazing view. Mentioned breakfast with homemade products were bonus. The owner of this accomodation was very kind and helpful.

Very big and super clean room with everything you need, the breakfast is excellent and provides an opportunity to try some local products, sweet ginger bread is especially tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is close enough to the lake and you can also reach Húsavík quite fast. We got much more than expected!

Very nice little cabins, spacious and cosy with everything you need inside. Hot tub was nice with the fairy lights, nice quiet area. Shower and wifi good, kitchen good, comfy bed. Easy no contact check in. Plenty of hooks which I appreciate. Had a great sleep.

Cozy room with everything one might need. The owner encouraged us to use the natural hot spring next door which was simply AMAZING. We sat there for and hour under the stars sipping amaretto and watching the snow covered hills. Truly magical.
