The owner, Laura, was super friendly and so was her husband. They treated us like old friends. They tried to help us as much as they can and told us to call them in case we need any help in town. The view from the b&b was fantastic. The breakfast was very well prepared and tasty. The room was clean.

We were here for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. There are so many thing to do in the area. And Rita, the owner, is a wonderful hostess. she makes you feel at home from beginning to end. Her breakfasts were so good and plentiful that we weren't even hungry for lunch! And she gives you so much info on things to do. We wouldn't go anywhere else in Fonni. And I can't wait to come back!!! Thank you Rita!!!!!!!!!

Antonello was a most useful and kind host, who takes care of everything and reacts promptly to any question. Ollalai is a lovely village in Barbagia - not a region for those looking for vibrant nightlife and entertainment, but ideal for those seeking tranquility and silent nights. It is a good starting point to explore this part of Sardinia with many interesting villages. The LaPlaza is a small establishment, with very nicely furnished rooms that one would not expect in such a small place very much off the beaten tourist track. Having said that, the town boasts at least three bars, of which at least the Alto Bar can - in addition to be a popular place for the locals enjoying beer and football matches - offer delicious local food at moderate prices. It is also the place where breakfast is served, though the LaPlaza also has a very useful common kitchen/eating room with fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. The rooms overlook the pleasant main square with the church and a small super-market. From here there is a less than hour walk to a nearby hill with an old monastery of St Basil, from where there are further mountain trails. We truly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend LaPlaza.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Gavoi, B&B Didova is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain.

Our wonderful host, Alessandra, was so friendly and kind. She spoke good English and served a super breakfast. Our room was super comfy and we had use of a shared sitting room with kettle, coffee maker and microwave. We were able to buy a bottle of local wine from Alessandra. There was a great pizzaria and an excellent restaurant within 10 mins walk and the village itself was very attractive. Great area to explore, with lots of archeological sitez providing a focus and some lovely walks.

Set in Orgosolo, B&B su Ponte features recently renovated accommodation 34 km from Tiscali. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

The room is very cosy and decorated in typical Sardinian style. Besides the decoration, the room is very clean, very lightful and very new. The location is perfect - in the main street of Orgosolo where you find all the famous paintings/murales. You can also find many free parking options in streets near by. The owner is such a friendly guy, so helpful and sympathic. You will feel immediately welcome in the mountain village. We would definetely come back! Best choice in Orgosolo!
