A GREAT apartment and lovely BNB experience in the heart of Umbria! We stayed 3 days at Dimora del Falco. The house is a 3 min drive from Montefalco, a charming town with great restaurants and the wine capital of the region. The house has two apartments and a breakfast room downstairs. Our apartment was spacious and had a large balcony, from which you have unobstructed views of the Umbrian hills. We asked beforehand for a crib and it was already in the room on arrival. Our daughter slept so well. The rooms have television and WiFi, all working perfectly. There’s also a fridge which comes in handy if you want to keep some bottles of cool water. Breakfast on the porch was lovely, with a spread of everything you need and each day a different cake, home-made by the owner’s aunt. During our stay we were especially delighted by the attentiveness of the owner! He brought up wine and helped us book a cab. All in all the perfect stay. 100% recommend and when we visit Umbria again we will definitely stay here again!

Ancient yet recently renovated building on a street of historic buildings just outside the city walls. Both atmospheric and comfortable, it is a small B&B in a neighborhood nicely off the beaten tourist track. The room had a sweeping view of the Spoleto Valley, lots of space, and a wonderful terrace. The couple that own it are kind and welcoming.

You are in the very centre of the hilltop town with a character. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and resourceful. The town is fantastic. Frescoes all around: Benozzo Gozzoli and Perugino to name a few. A balustrade 50 meters from your door with a 180 degree view to die for. Assisi seen right from your window... And Spello. And Trevi. And Foligno... Hey, and if you are after fine dining, Montefalco is definitely the place to visit. We come from a pretty foody city, but three out of three restaurants we visited were amazing.
