Excellent stay at Jay's Guest House in Blue Mountain. Pick up in Kingston and drop off in Bull Bay. The Hike to Blue Mountain Peak was quite tuff but the goal was 100 % worth it. Jay's family and the staff including the guide and driver to the peak did excellent jobs to make our 2 nights stay at Jay's to a nonforgettable memory to put in our travel experience.

Bobby is the kindest person we've ever met. The fresh brewed blue mountain coffee and the tea made with herbs he took from his garden were like a cherry on a top of cake given to our breakfast. Even the hardest part of the road was ok with Bobbies help 👌We get his direction and with our rented car of bad quality (no clearance, no 4x4, brakes so so) with 3 big duffel bags (21 kg each) we reached the guesthouse (going back Bobby helped us with bags - took them to his car to get our car a little higher and we followed him to avoid biggest potholes on the steep road up). The road B1 is a normal mountain paved road reachable for each car. But the second part, which is only 2.5 km, was really stressful: is paved but very steep and full of gaps, potholes and sharp turns. Going down is ok, because you don't know what to expect:) Going back with a car without high clearance is a challenge but reachable. The place was completely hidden with great views and much cooler than the city. Our room was clean and normal, nothing more you should expect in mountain hut. People in the neighborhood were also very polite (it is always so in mountain). There is also a small waterfall in 10 minutes walk where you can refresh in cold water. Bobby and Deana help to organize tours and hikes with local guides. We took Shugarloaf hike with a very nice couple - picnic under waterfall and many talks about surroundings.

Mr Brown was an extremely helpful and gracious host. He was kind and considerate. I got lost on the way there, and Mr Brown stayed on the phone with me to give me directions and guide me in. He also helped me with accessing local services. He is the best 'brother', 'uncle' or 'friend' you could ever meet on your first day anywhere. The guest house is a fabulous, beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the hills and the sea.

Thank you Tamara for your welcome, thank you for your kindness, your kindness, your patience, for showing us around Kingston in local mode. Helped us as much as possible with the Jamaican exchange. Clean house, clean and spacious room, bathroom ok in all simplicity you welcomed us perfectly. The breakfast is magnificent, fresh food, local cuisine, a real discovery, thank you (I could eat ackee every day.) As well as your homemade juice. We are very happy and grateful to have had this wonderful encounter.. Our absolute favorite during our stay in Jamaica and if life allows us, we will come back to you.
