The owner of the guest house is an absolute legend. The house is amazing and very cosy and clean. The accomodation has a very authentic Japanese atmosphere. The owner speaks little English but nonetheless tried very hard to communicate with us even though we spoke little Japanese. We still had a great conversation with a lot of laughs. The beds were very comfy, the room was nice and the service was amazing.

The room was incredibly clean and the place was only about a 5 min walk from the station which was very convenient.

This is a great place to stay on a beautiful island in the Seto Naikai that is easily overlooked. The owner really makes a great effort to make you feel welcome. In a traditional house, with tatami flooring. The smell is truly unique. Located at about 15' walk to Kasaoka port, to travel to the nearest islands. However, the location is not near restaurants/bars. But the auberge offers a menu, if requested. The room has a traditional Japanese feel, and has a lot of free amenities. It's clean and comfortable. The garden is amazing! The staff is so kind and welcoming. They were very accommodating, letting me check-in early at no extra fee.
