Would highly recommend Sunshine Villas. It is beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location with an array of wildlife at your doorstep! They arranged everything for us at ease and great prices. We stayed for 2 nights. Our flight landed at 3am and Sunshine Villas had pickup waiting to bring us straight to the accommodation. On arrival they had a beautiful breakfast waiting. They then accommodated our early check in. After a nap we were brought to the elephant safari by one of the sunshine villa staff which was incredible. They then arranged a tuk tuk driver for us for day 2! I couldnt rate more highly! The staff are so helpful and polite. The room was immaculate with hot water, and a choice of air con or a fan! I would rate 10/10

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. One of the best rooms we had so far in Sri Lanka, good hot shower and WiFi. All good restaurants within 5/10 min walking distance. The Lion Rock is also nearby. The breakfast is really good and the owner is really friendly and tries giving you a good time!

Very nice hosts, loved chatting with Wanda and Leo om the evenings! Amazing food, the curries for dinners were the best we ever had. The location is right in the jungle, so we made friends with gekkos and squirrels. A great stay!

The place is not fancy at all, but it was quiet at night, I slept well. The museum is near. The host is hospitable and I had a really good breakfast, altogether for a cheap price

Nice location if you are planning to climb the famous rocks in Sigiriya! The room was quite spacious, clean and decorated with flowers. We arrived at around 8 pm, the host met us and offered to have chicken curry for dinner that his wife had cooked - the dinner was very delicious! He also made delicious cocktails with arrack. Next morning we enjoyed breakfast that consisted of rotties, eggs and fruits and after that the host took us to Sigiriya rock by his tuk-tuk for free. After we climbed Sigiriya rock, he also came to drive us back to the villa by his tuk-tuk also for free. In general, we really enjoyed staying at Dream villa, the host and his wife were really nice people.

AMAZING AMAZING PLACE!! You have to stay here in Sigiriya. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the Sri Lankan (hoppers & curry was so good!) very attentive family. 2 rooms total. Safari with the family was amazing definitely book it through him! Room was super clean, fast WiFi, big shower, great AC. And even a television. Our stay here was the best in Sri Lanka and that’s all down the the amazing room, value for money & the lovely family. Couple of good restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Highly reccomend Attika restaurant!
