The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

We liked the hotel in general. The room was simple, but clean and with A/C. WiFi was working fine as well Swimming pool after the day of hiking and sightseeing is exactly what was helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good as well. The personal was very helpful and supportive.

Do not hesitate! Book one of these two, brand-new 'cabanas' immediately. Spotlessly clean, views of the mountains from the balcony, these are well-designed and spacious with big, comfortable beds. We woke to the sound of bird-call, including peacocks, 4 of whom we spotted in the garden. A truly lovely family runs this accomodation. They gave us a warm welcome, juice included, let us use their washing machine, took us around the area, gave us their home-grown bananas as well as other fruit and omelette for breakfast and generally looked after us impeccably. If we wished they would have also cooked us an evening meal. This is a new project for them and we are sure it will be successful.

The family at this homestay were very helpful and friendly. We got breakfast every morning and we had dinner here one night and it was amazing. So tasty. They also had a tuk tuk and dropped us wherever we wanted when we needed it. Would definitely recommend

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

There's very little more I can say about enaya cottage that hasn't already been said in the reviews already, but suffice to say we had a wonderful two day stay here in Sigiriya. The property itself is very much hidden away after the main drag in Sigiriya, but that's only a good thing. The peace one experiences here is beyond compare, total relaxation. Our host was impeccable, a true gentlewoman who literally couldn't do enough for us. Both mornings we were up early (to scale Lion Rock and Pidurangaia) and for a hot air balloon trip out of Dambulla. Amazing Safari,They have their own jeep.Safari was so much fun and we saw many things.. In both instances, our host (I apologise for not recalling his name) was up before us, breakfast served on our patio. Nothing was too much trouble, and his smile only served to brighten our day. Big rooms, decent sized bathroom, and excellent breakfasts. What more does one need?

From being welcomed with special fresh fruit juice to mid day star fruit,, everything about this place was great. Kalhara is an amazing host and very helpful. Even the breakfast was very nice and complete sri lankan style. Loved staying here.
