We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.

Everything was nice. The location is incredible itself, pure nature. The view from our room was amazing and sounds around too. From restaurant you need to test sri lankian style food for sure, it is homemade and delicious)) We use hotel’s services for guiding to the forest and it was great.

Our stay at the edge of Sinharaja Rainforest was absolutely amazing! The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. The owners were very nice people and we had plenty of space for the family with three kids. It's at the edge of the rainforest, and everything is green around the house. The breakfast was perfect, even my choosy daughter had good variety. We had a rainforest tour with the owner's father, and this little old man was the best choice we could make. He spotted all the animals on the way and simply couldn't stop explaining everything on the way, and finally we ended up having the tour two hours longer than planned. If you also go with him give our greetings to him. We would return any time.

The property was located in outskirts of Sinharaja Rainforest, which is a great surrounding. The owner, Sarath, was specifically helpful with everything and his kind wife provided us with hot water for our 4 months old puppy.
