Very clean room, good fan, mosquito net in the windows, which makes it easy to sleep with a breeze, it is quite, good mattress and pillows, excellent big bathroom with hot shower, wifi works really well. Kitchen for use. Parking space in the garden. Very friendly couple. Definitely a very good place to stay at the beach, we can absolutely recommend it.

Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

I would recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean and comfortable base in Trimcomalee. It's a good option for those who plan to spend most of their time exploring and simply need a place to sleep and shower. Absolutely loved our stay here. An idyllic setting right on the beach, with the softest sand and clear blue water. The staff made our stay, all so friendly and welcoming, especially the owner Mandy. She welcomes you with open arms and makes you feel right at home, she can't do enough for you! Food is also amazing and home cooked - we ate all of our meals here over the 3 days. Highly recommend a stay!

The treat we received was exceptional, super nice people, the room was big, the beds comfortable and everything worked properly. It has got a table with chairs outside to chill, in front of a garden. I would recommend it for sure!

Close to the Beach and next to the best Restaurant Mom's Kitchen, this place is a real gem. Rooms are super clean, good bed, good working shower and AC. The owner Prasanth is super friendly and takes such good care of all the stray cats and dogs in the area. He made it his life goal to take care for the animals nobody else is looking after, which makes him a true hero! At the place itself, there also are super cute dogs and cats that live there and it was a pleasure spending time with them. We hope to come back soon and would recommend everyone who comes to Trincomalee to spend your time here, you won't regret it! Ps: almost everything he earns he will use it to take stray animals to the vet, for food & medicine for the cats and dogs... So if you can, give him a nice tip so he can continue doing such beautiful work! ♥️

Tribal Village in Trincomale was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect way to start our trip. The location is beautiful : you can easily walk everywhere you need, and the beach is just a short distance away. The place is very new, and the cabanas are clean, cozy and private. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They always made sure we had everything we needed: even when we weren’t feeling well or had questions about the area. Their suggestions were always spot on( scuba diving) ! Breakfast was delicious, with several great options to choose from. They were so generous, always making sure we had enough food and drinks, even offering extras with a smile. What really stood out to us was the warmth of the people here. The manager and all the staff made us feel not like guests, but like family. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience — we truly hope to come back soon! Sophie and Caroline
