Kasbah Maktob is enchanting, like staying in a comfortable museum full of Berber artifacts; one is surrounded by Amazigh culture. Also provided by wonderful host Mustapha, a sculptor and musician who will play and sing after supper on the traditional gimbri, the Moroccan bass. We stayed in the top room, the family room, spacious with an incredible view from its balcony out over the palm oasis. Kasbah Tamnougalt is my favourite in Morocco, and Kasbah Maktob sits within its ancient walls. Mustapha is also a fabulous cook, so meals were delicious. One of my favourite places to stay in Morocco -- don't miss Tamnougalt and the Agdz area. Beautiful.

The Service was very nice and the food was extraordinary! Best Tajine we had in Marokko - believe me and book the Dinner as well, it‘s worth it! The place has a beautiful garden and the Kasbah is very impressive as well. The rooms are big and the pool area is very relaxing. We would stay there again! Thank you for everything!

Just AMAZING - best place we stayed at in 2 weeks travelling through Marocco… Like all the other travelers said - wish we would have stayed more than one night. Absolutely spotless, and on point with all the details but the from, but also the outdoor spaces. Lights and hocks in all the right places 🤩🩷🤩 Beautiful decoration, spacious room, spotless, nice smells, super quiet. Best sleep on the entire trip. Also walkable to the Medina, which was such an unexpected cool surprise, busy like Marrakech, but without the Tourist touch. Massive thank you also to Pierre, for the recommendation with regards to the Carpet Cooperative in Talouste - I think we made a good deal and are exited how this massive carpet will look and feel back home. Our staying at Kasbah Itrane was great! The staff was very caring, they gave us a rich lunch, dinner and breakfast, and they cared about everything we might have needed. The place is just amazing and in a strategic location on our way back from Merzouga. We had the possibility to relax and chill in the swimming pool while drinking a wonderful orange juice. Thank you very much to the whole staff!
