Nice, clean rooms. Shared kitchen is great also as they aren't too common in Nepal I feel. The atmosphere with it being private rooms in a shared communal space is great, friendly and communal so you chat with other guests but you have more privacy and is generally a bit more relaxed than in a hostel. Shekhar is a great host who will show you local food and culture also! Highlights - rooftop fire night and watching the world cup match + what might be the coldest beer I've ever had!

The stay was perfect. Ganesh is such a welcoming guest & very helpful, serving tea in the garden after arrival and giving good advices to visit Bhaktapur. Also, the breakfast is very good with homemade crepes & jujudhau (delicious yogurt in Bhaktapur). The night was very calm and peaceful with no noise, I recommend this home stay 100%

We stayed in the heritage room overlooking the Square - and as described you need to climb the stairs to get to this room and the private rooftop area. There are not many places you can get to stay in a hotel with such history and heritage. Very happy with this hotel, and room selection. if you have mobility issues - this may not be the room for you - select an alternate room on a lower floor. Meals at this hotel were fabulous, loved the soda drink menu! i tried nearly all of them ! Meals are served in a very beautiful internal courtyard decorated with wood carvings and plants. Owners and staff were very very helpful with any of the questions we asked, and assisted us with our bags on arrival and departure; organised taxi to the airport (excellent rate). Located on a nice quiet square, and it was magical to sit by the window and watch the scene change during the day. Easy walk from this hotel to the other squares in Bhaktapur. Thoroughly recommend at least 1-2 nights in this city to explore and unwind. Excellent wifi at all time, in our room and in courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and will defintely be staying here again.

This lovely guest house is managed by a charming couple Laxman and Sanu who try so hard to make a guests stay perfect. The location is in the heart of Bhaktapur far away from tourist hotels, here you are really immersed in the community while still enjoying home comforts. Dattarraya Square is less than a five-minute walk away where there are a couple of recommended restaurants. We had a spacious room with balcony. Hot water always available and while the room was quite cool in the evenings, a portable gas heater is provided which was very effective. No kettle in the room but there is kitchen on the top floor to make drinks. Good breakfast each morning which is European style with boiled egg, yoghurt and fruit, cheese, tomato and cucumber slices plus bread and jam, juice and coffee.

It was a great stay here. Staff is so helpful and nice. They called a motor bicycle for me and a taxi. They told me about the indrive app, so I could install me at my phone, So, later during my trip it was also very good to have this app, cause I used it often. The location is very close to Durbar Square, only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was delicious and served in a very lovely garden. The guesthouse is a very beautiful building. When I visit Bhaktapur again I will stay at this place again.
