I like the room, it was very cosy. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was ideal - it was in the countryside but still only 10 minutes drive into town. It was lovely to have breakfast with Anne-Marie and John in their kitchen and have a chat with them. John gave us a tour of his garden and let us feed one of his deer.

I had a last minute booking. Still Claire welcomed me warmly and when telling her, that I was not sure, if I find a place to stay for another night, she just comforted me and told me she will make a space, if I don't find anything. The bed was heaven and breakfast really good

The place had the most beautiful gardens and you can see the bunny rabbits running around the gardens, lovely ponds that look super cute in the sun! The fire place was an added bonus and freshly stocked wood for a perfect romantic evening.

We had an exceptional experience during our recent stay at the lodge with our family. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, providing plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. The amenities offered were fantastic! We loved the beautiful surroundings, which provided a perfect backdrop for our outdoor adventures. The kids especially enjoyed the activities available, from hiking trails to the playground, keeping them entertained throughout our stay.
