It is a charming, lovingly refurbished and decorated flat that seems transported directly from the English countryside. Although the house is on the main road, the studio is at the back of the building and very quiet. You can walk to the city centre, but it takes time, so it is better to go by car.

This is a beautiful old home. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, warm croissants, and entertaining stories from the owner. 15 minute walk from the sights, restaurants.

Helen is a wonderful host. Arriving on work placement and not knowing the town it was so lovely Helen was able to help me so much. From picking me up from the bus, to providing me with fresh food from her garden to making sure I was comfortable and taken care of every day. The accomodation was more than comfortable it met all my needs and more and was top notch

    We loved the location of the house with views for miles, and walking distance to the Penguin colony. It was quaint and quirky yet clean, so comfortable and quiet at night. The owner Roger was friendly and welcoming, showing us around the whole house. The lounge area is huge with a large sunny balcony. It was such a nice spot to have breakfast. Only stayed one night, wish it was longer.
