Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

The units come with a fridge, minibar, a coffee machine, a shower, a hair dryer and a wardrobe. A balcony with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in all units. All units feature a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

A recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Tortuguero, near Tortuguero Beach, Cabinas Tortuguero Sports Fishing features free WiFi, a private beach area and a garden. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Primo and his wife welcomed us perfectly, taking care of all our needs, recommending good restaurants and a tour guide. The tranquility and atmosphere around were exactly what we needed after landing in Costa Rica.

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, an oven, coffee machine, and a toaster. With a private bathroom equipped with a bath and bathrobes, units at the bed and breakfast also provide guests with free WiFi, while some rooms come with a balcony. At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. This place feels like "home away from home". Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The owners are incredibly nice and share recommendations for the activities and restaurants, the breakfast is heavenly!!! The rooms are elegant, large and comfortable, the garden is a paradise. The best accommodation!

At the inn, the rooms have a patio with a river view. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Cabañas Daneysha also feature a mountain view. All rooms at the accommodation have air conditioning and a wardrobe. My bf and I loved the hosts, humble and attentive. The hostess is very communicative, Gloria makes your stay pleasant due to the tours and advices she offers, the tours were guided by her husband, Sergio who speaks English as well, has lots of knowledge and the fact that you were in a private tour and transported from the Cabins to the tour and viceversa. It’s very secure and lovely
