Located in a historic building in the centre of Český Krumlov, Penzion Thallerův Dům is just 250 metres from the Egon Schiele Art Centre and a 10-minute walk from Krumlov Castle. The apartments have a kitchenette and offer free wired internet. Location to everything and on a quiet street. The rooms are clean, with heat, well maintained with everything you need in the kitchenette, including wine glasses and corkscrew. The room had two big windows with great view of the castle. The bathroom is large with great water pressure in the shower and has toiletries. The breakfast was a short walk away with a nice balance between savoury and sweet. Even as a vegetarian. There was lots of options.

Set in the centre of Český Krumlov, Penzion BOHEM centrum is a recently renovated accommodation, which offers soundproof rooms. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 600 metres from Český Krumlov Castle. The accommodation features private check-in and check-out, and organising tours for guests. Excellent location. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to get two pillows each that were actually firm. The shower was great and the place was very clean.

The units come with tiled floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining area, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. All units include private entrance. At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. Best stay of our trip. Place and the rooms were really nice, clean and spacious. Host was very friendly. They paid lot of attention to minor details as well- food we like, toys for baby etc.

I stopped here during a road trip round Europe and I think it was best of all the places I stayed (and they were all amazing!). Cesky Krumlov is insanely beautiful, so it’s testament to how great this place is that I wasn’t in a rush every morning to get out an explore. The rooms are beautifully decorated but still incredibly comfortable and practical. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The person-free check in worked perfectly, and even after a dicey drive through the snow to get there I was immediately able to relax. The location on the edge of the old town is perfect, meaning all the sights are within a short walk, but there’s no noise from crowds. There is limited parking at the hotel but there is loads around the town, and to be honest it’s such a pleasant walk I preferred having to wander back to the car. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, I’d honestly come back to Český Krumlov just to stay here again!
