The property is absolutely stunning with Victorian Charm and quite a lot of history. Our room was large and inviting with coffee, tea, biscuits, a rain shower, and every amenity you could imagine. Fiona, James, and their pets were as inviting as they come. We felt like family for the evening. The breakfast was divine. Everything about this property blew us away and the price was quite reasonable as well.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has private entrance. Everything about this B&B was superb. John and Clare were excellent hosts. My husband and I needed a quiet escape for my birthday, and they delivered! We're introverted and exhausted parents so the private entrance with coffee and tea was a wonderful touch. The porch was perfect for late night card games. Breakfast was divine! Delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely perfect. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I cannot say enough about this wonderful lodge. Its proximity to Hay-on-Wye allowed for wonderful bookstore browsing during the day. We are already excited to return!

Great location, right next to the canal with a lovely walking path to a lovely little pub 20 minutes walk away. The views across the valley are spectacular. Great breakfast every morning to set you up for a day of exploring this beautiful area. Having parking was great too. Sid was so very helpful with all sorts of maps available for walks in the area. Would not hesitate to recommend.
