The guesthouse is located in a beautiful location at the foothills of some mountains on Yuge island. It's quiet but restaurants and convenience store are easily accessible by bike. Was truly a unique experience. Koji was also an excellent host. Would strongly recommend!

All units in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The landlord is extremely kind. When I moved in, he gave me a detailed introduction on how to use the room. There's a clean kitchen, a living room with a TV, and a huge bedroom—it's fantastic! The landlord even lent me a bicycle, allowing me to explore the Yokai City in Sakaiminato freely! What's more amazing is that the landlord is actually from New Zealand! When he learned my name is Kiwi, he looked astonished. When I showed him my kiwi bird profile picture, we high-fived excitedly! What a wonderful coincidence! He kept showing me the New Zealand elements in the house, and there were really many!

This was a beautiful room, very attractive design, spacious and in a perfect area for touring Kurashiki. It is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Check in was easy. Good communication with hosts, and restaurant recommendations, which was helpful. It’s not a hotel per se, and so no meals included but they provided a basket of fruit and baked goods daily and coffee, so that was perfect for breakfast. It was all we needed. The seating area has a good view over the canal so you could not be better situated.

It is near to Conan street with a bit of walking, i am able to reach the attractions. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They adviced me to many places and the route i should take to be able to visit all of the attractions.

Exceptional, great location, delicious breakfast and nice accomodation

OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Imabari, 30 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 32 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was incredibly clean and orderly. Traditional japanese housing but at the same time had a feeling of modernity. I was impressed by the attention to detail on all amenities present in the accommodation. The bed was so comfortable. It has a perfect location for those cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Keep in mind that it is a shared house, so you will be sharing the same common spaces with others staying, although this was no issue for me. I would highly recommend Omishima Space and I hope to be back in future!
