He also gave us tips for great snorkeling spots and good restaurants and made it possible for us to have rice and curry for breakfast instead of the usual choices. The hotel itself was also great. Just a few minutes from the beach and close to a variety of good restaurants. It was very clean and very well maintained. We felt very comfortable the whole 9 days we were there! It happened more than once that we met other tourists in town who were unhappy with their accommodation, but as for my boyfriend and I, we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Comfortable beds, tea pot in room, beautiful garden sitting area - all was perfect. Friendly staff. Also good location - 5 min walk to beach, and a lot of good cafes and resturants around. We stayed here for 2 nights and then try to go to other place, but we return to stay one more night because its most comfortable place.

One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!
