Located in Papetoai, FARE TEMANEA provides accommodation with a saltwater pool and pool views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.2 km from Papetoai Beach. The bungalow is so cute and it’s on a nice property with a pool. The owners really helped me out a lot and were so kind. There are also kayaks to use but I didn’t have time to do that.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. Wow! Maison Orange exceeded all my expectations. It was spacious, clean, I could use the washing machine, there is a big kitchen to use, the room has a great size,… huge terrace - the location is perfect - very close to beach by the hotel Tipaniers where you can rent a kayak, go scuba diving, take excursions,… If I come back (which I am already planning to) - I will definitely stay here again!

Certain units in the guest house have private entrance and are equipped with desk and wardrobe. The units have a private bathroom, while selected rooms will provide you with a balcony and others also have a mountain view. At the guest house, some units are fitted with a kettle and wine or champagne. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We needed to book at rental car at the last minute and the host was able to book us a car the day before we arrived. Breakfast was optional, we weren't sure if we going to do breakfast or not. We had a long day before we arrived, so decided to keep things simple and go with the breakfast which the host offered. It was your usual European breakfast - various breads and pastries, fresh fruit (seasonal), choice of cheese (cheese plate), homemade jams. You can also ask for scrambled eggs, not sure if they're an added cost or not? There's a small communal fridge so you can put groceries in there. So if you wanted to save some money, you have the option of getting groceries and making your own breakfast. Same thing applies with lunch and dinner. You have access to the kitchen, so you can always make your own lunch and dinner. We had the larger room since that's what was available; it's called the Superior Family Room. Very spacious. Very clean. There was A/C which was very welcomed in that heat! Sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids, or you could do 3 adults but the 2 smaller beds might be a bit small... One of the nice things of staying at a Pension in French Polynesia is that you get to meet the local people, as well as get to know other guests who are staying there. The hosts were at breakfast every morning, and there was always a lively conversation with everyone at the table. So it all depends what you're looking for in Mo'orea, if you're looking for something quiet, where you can 'hide' from the world, then maybe a resort is a better fit? But if you're looking for more of an immersive experience and meeting people, then I would consider staying at a Pension. Also have to talk about their 2 dogs, Rex and Gnocchi! They're a bit goofy, very social and friendly. They mostly hung out by themselves, in the common area and grounds, but did enjoy some scratches behind the ears ;)

Close to Tiahura Beach, Fare Tokoau Moorea is set in Moorea and has a solarium. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house offers a children's playground and a 24-hour front desk. I loved my sweet bungalow with a wonderful porch and view of the ocean. Especially loved the owner’s kitty who adopted me for my stay. Fare Tokoau is near all of my favorite restaurants, and has the most beautiful sunsets on the island of Moorea. The owners were lovely and very helpful whenever I needed anything. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Moorea.

Very nice place to stay. Lodges are huge. We were watching whales from the beach every morning, which was really unexpected.

This bed and breakfast has a private pool, a garden and free private parking. Guests have access to a hot tub and fitness room. Perfect location, beautiful wooden house, large terrace with unbeatable view on the lagoon. You get your own bedroom with balcony and your private bathroom. The entry, terrace and kitchen you share with very kind couple, who will make your stay very pleasant, comfortable and also private, as much as you want. Every morning they welcomed us with delicious breakfast, including fresh croissant from the local bakery. The house was once the part of the Resort, so the environment is green, tidy, safe, with private entrance to the property. You have access to small fitness, swimming pool & tennis court. It’s recommended to have a rent a car (as generally in Moorea), which can be provided by the owners. In our case we’ve got a very nice 4x4 Suzuki Jimmy, automatic transmission for very reasonable price. Raquel & Laurent were shared with us lots of useful information & recommendations. We’d come back in a second.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The host was absolutely amazing – kind, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed anything. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed during our time here. The place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and offered excellent value for the price. The location is perfect, close to everything you might want to see or do. What really made the experience special was the host’s genuine hospitality and warm personality. Highly recommended!
