We added the teahouse on Line and they told us they would pick us up at the bus stop, so we didn't have to walk up the mountain at all. We were allowed to explore the tea plantation by ourselves. In the factory, the owner shared different teas with us and explained a lot about the different kinds, so we were able to ask any questions. Their tea was also provided inside the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic with a gorgeous view in the morning, and afterwards the owner's daughter held a tea ceremony, trying three different kinds of teas. One of the most special experiences we have had our entire trip. The daughter also speaks English quite well. The family's sun was also able to give us and two other guests a ride back to the bus station. We had a fantastic and very special experience and would come back any time if we could. It was worth every cent.

Chris and Mei are genuinely good people who went out of their way to make our short stay special. Chris took us on a night hike to see the fireflies which was an unexpected highlight of our Taiwan travels. Great spot to relax and find peace. We wish we could have stayed longer. There's really nothing to dislike about this accommodation if you have your expectations right. It's not a fancy hotel but it was everything and more we needed.
