We were well informed about how the self check in works. The appartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed and the view from the appartment was amazing. There were plenty of buses from just outside the appartment to take us to the city centre and the cable cars to take you up the mountains were just minutes away. The zoo was also just a five minute bus journey. We had a fantastic holiday

Level 3 traveler-I looked forward to our second stay at BnB Villa Verde, this one 5 nights Dec 4-9th 2024 to see Christmas Markets/Krampus.Like staying with friends Alex & Iris are wonderful hosts-friendly,funny,informative.Boutique cozy feel, extra comfy king bed.Breakfast is scrumptious with made to order eggs and coffee service. Alex is sociable and outgoing yet balancing privacy.Located in quiet area one-way street adjacent to a brook and 7 min to main shop street.We stayed in Oct 23 and rebooked happily for our return,perhaps the best compliment. Apartment was gorgeous with everything you could possibly need. We were only there 2 nights and didn’t cook, but everything was there. Coffee and tea provided and salt/pepper/olive oil etc. Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Main bed and sofa bed very comfortable. Streaming TV if you need it. I met up with my daughter who is travelling so thé washing machine was much appreciated. Iron, drying rack also available. Balcony is lovely. Access via the key codes was well communicated in advance and worked seamlessly. We were there during Salzburg city festival, and high temperatures so aircon and double glazing also appreciated as some kind of techno rave in the Mirabell gardens on Saturday night could be blocked out. Just along the road from the gardens and the Sound of Music Tour. Easy access to everywhere on foot and also a quick bus trip to Hauptbahnhof if you don’t want to lug bags. 15 mins walk otherwise. Very well provisioned Spar supermarket about 3 mins walk. Loved the apartment and Salzburg so hope to stay again.

The room was in excellent condition, better than most 4-star hotel rooms. The option to leave baggage in the property after checkout was quite useful. Pension Katrin was the best place we ever stayed in! The host Sandra, who is super nice and helpful, gave us a lot of useful information upon our arrival. The pension is cute and homely, we loved the style of furniture as it blends in perfectly with the vintage and romantic vibe of the city and surrounding villages. It was also extremely clean which I appreciate greatly! Another highlight was the breakfast which was fresh and delicious, obviously made with love. There was enough parking space and the old city centre was located just 15 min walk away so we went everywhere by foot. This place definitely exceeded our expectations and we are surely coming back sometime in the future!
