I enjoyed staying at Casa Sheila, we’ll equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful garden. If you’re travailing by car, there’s a garage for it. The location of a house is also very comfortable, everything is nearby.

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Rita and Giuseppe are truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality is second to none, combining professionalism with genuine care. The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. The bed was very comfy, shower great, breakfast, drinks and evening meal in the garden all excellent. Hosts really friendly. Lovely walk along the lake into Locarno and very convenient for the train station. Would highly recommend.

Wanda was a wonderful host! We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!

The host is super. The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!
