Absolutely fantastic host Cristian!!! Always ready to help, advice, fulfill your needs. Simple but very tasty breakfast and the best beach. Nelson was an excellent host and really friendly and extremely helpful. The room has all the facilities you need and the lack of air conditioning was not really a problem. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Drake Bay and wished I had spent longer staying there during my time in Costa Rica

The stunning location, set literally at the end of 20+ km of unpaved road, on its own lagoon, a few metres from the ocean, with only the sounds of the birds and frogs to disturb the peace.     Norma was a lovely host, super helpful and nice to chat to, shared her home with me and showed me some of the local area, and helped me book a tour to La Sirena. Breakfast was traditional and tasty. Quiet location just beyond the village.

    The area of hotel was amazing! A garden with lots of animals, aguti, birds- ara parrots, colibers. I loved to wake up very early and watch it on our balcony. The owners were very friendly, they gave us a drive from the boat. The hotel is at the end of this small village and that makes it much more charming. The air conditioner is only in bedroom but it wasn’t obstacle for us.

    Wonderful, friendly & helpful people. Very nice cabin. Best restaurant & chef (Chef Oscar!) in Drake Bay. Easy access to the beach. The village just 500 meters down the beach or up the road. Nice market & nice laundry close. Great tours arranged by the lodge.

    The location was OK since it was not too far from the village and the Bay itself and we came by car so we could get around easily, however, if you don't have a car it is still pretty far from the center of the village. A lot of animals, like Tucans and monkeys, in the area is a bonus. The closest beach is OK if you don't want to get into the water, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it because it looks dangerous because the surf is very strong.

    This place is nice appartment just above the center of Drake Bay. It's situated next to the road but very quite. The whole village and also this place are really friendly and calming. The hosts Tico and Sonya are so helpful and provide you with everything you need. A ride to the beach (the walk can be strenuous for older people because of the heat and because it's a climb up and down) was always offered by Tico when we had an excursion booked.
