The location near to Stirling Castle special. As soon as we opened the door the smell was pleasant and refreshing. It felt very homely and was comfortable. We were grateful we could wash our clothes after 8 days of travel. Having an outdoor area to hang clothes great plus meeting next door neighbour’s dog. We made a meal and found everything we needed was supplied. Easy to access lock box. Owner was prompt and welcoming in her communications

Dinner was very good.I had the roast beef which was the roast of the day, with all the trimmings. There were 3 of us traveling together and "Bruces Cottage" has 3 very comfortable bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The highlight of our stay was accidentally meeting Stacy and Hannah the young women who cleaned our space in Bruces Cottage. They were so very nice and a pleasure to have met. The cottage was immaculate!
