The hosts, the house, the comfort, and the peace and beauty of the location were outstanding. When we arrived and the hostess realized we were seniors, she immediately offered us a room on the ground floor. Large well equipped room with excellent shower. Warm bedding. Great breakfasts and lovely conversations. Couldn't have wished for better. Highly recommend. Would stay there for longer if ever back in UK

A home from home, extremely clean and comfortable equipped with everything I needed for a week’s stay with my 18 month old toddler - from high chair, travel cot to toys and games. Lovely hot shower, sky and WiFi, plus a great welcome hamper with homemade scones, cream and jam - delicious treat. Great location for popping across the road to get provisions from Aldi and a straight forward walk to St Austell train station. The patio area gets lovely sunshine during the day. Hosts were fantastic, friendly helpful communication throughout. Highly recommend and would love to stay again when I return to Cornwall to visit family.

We originally were booked to stay in the 1 bed apartment but the hosts kindly upgraded us to the house for our stay. The whole property is absolutely beautiful, Alison was a wonderful host throughout our stay and you can tell all the love that has been put into creating such a exceptional place to stay. We couldn’t recommend Marners Rock enough and can’t wait to bring our family down with us next time. Perfect location, only a couple of minutes away from the sweet little town where there are lovely bakeries, independent shops and restaurants.

    Location was super; quiet, clean, dog friendly and surrounded by wildlife. Close to the beach and a short drive to where I had to work and local attractions. Close to the local village with a few amenities and a handful of pubs close by for food & drink.

    Good location, v clean and everything that you could need was supplied. A large Co-op store within 2 minutes walk, although the prices were a little high. I used their car park for overnight parking as there is none at the cottage. The main beach is a 5 minute drive away, but some great little Cornish villages 10/15 minutes away.
