We had a very large unit on the main floor, the bed was comfortable. They had an excellent breakfast with a large selection. It was a 5 minute walk to the main street which had a large selection of restaurants and stores. The receptionist was really helpful and laid out where the monasteries were located and how to approach visiting them (which was very helpful). She also referred us to a very fine restaurant where we enjoyed one of our finer meals in Greece. Had the train been working (the floods prevented that), it would have been 1 minute to walk from the train station to the hotel. Location is very good.

The apartment is very cozy, nicely decorated, and modernly furnished, with a convenient location near the city center. We were just passing through and stayed only one night, but the impression was excellent. The host was very kind, and the arrangement and check-in were quick and hassle-free. It is an apartment with a view of Meteora.We were 5 people, all had enough space (there is quite comfortable can accommodate 7-8 people + crib).There is a kitchen with everything you need for cooking.Clean linen, enough towels.Washing machine, a place to dry the laundry. In general, a full-fledged residential apartment.Clean.A little unclear was the entrance to the house itself, it is used as a parking lot, and if you count the parking lot as 1 floor, our apartment was on the 3rd floor.A little inconvenient that there is no elevator, especially if heavy luggage, but for us it was not the main thing.It is important what is inside. There was a delicious pie waiting for us in the fridge! Thanks to our hosts for such a surprise. The kids were delighted!

Meteora/Kalambaka is a unique experience, and this apartment is located right in the heart of Kalambaka. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the town and the surrounding mountains and monasteries. The apartment is spacious and luxurious, with all necessary equipment for a short or long stay. The beds are very comfortable. (The apartment is on the top floor with no lift, so it is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.)

If we could, we would give them 100 stars!! My mother and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and absolutely enjoyed every second staying at The Storyteller. The two men of the hotel staff were extremely attentive and hospitable. They were always thinking one step ahead and were so thoughtful with their hospitality. The design of the hotel is so elegant, chic and cool. The room was sparkly clean and offered plenty of useful accessories inside such as tea cups, water cups, wine glasses, utensils, coffee pods, tea bags, bathroom kits, robes, slippers, etc. Our favorite part was the customized breakfasts. We very much enjoyed selecting what we wanted to eat every morning and spending a slow morning downstairs in the beautiful lobby. Thank you again to the two gentleman who were very kind, thoughtful and hospitable! Highly recommend!

    We loved staying at Yiannis house! It is located in the center of beautiful Kastraki village. The house was very clean and had very a traditional appearance with modern amenities. The beds were comfortable, ac worked well, a very large bathroom, and we were very thankful for the washing machine. Yiannis was responsive and provided great recommendations for monasteries to visit during our brief stay. The home was in a perfect location to explore Meteora. Highly recommend this home and the taverna right next door.

    Staff were extremely friendly and helped me with anything I needed (tours, food, taxi etc.). The room was also very nice and clean and had great facilities. Location was good too, Kastraki is a nice quiet village and is in a great location for anyone going to Meteora.

    Very neat and comfortable place. The aircon was great. And we got our laundry done extra free of charge. Effrosyni was really helpful with detail information about Meteora. We had a great little stay in Meteora and the villa. Also the location was very central and convenient.
