The rural location was so peaceful and idyllic. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Dinner in town was simple, fresh and very affordable. Beautiful place! An old (and charming) but comfortable cottage with everything you need. The location is superb: very central in Mayo: close to Castlebar (for groceries), Newport, Westport, Croagh Patrick and a lot more tourist destinations, but also in a rural setting, in nature (with a few neighbours, so also not too isolated). The kids loved the cows, the tractor, chatting to the farmer and walking in the garden, and also the books and toys in the house.
