Darren, the host, was really lovely and kindly accommodated our early check-in. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful. And, finally, the location is really special - the back garden is beautiful and the canal itself is wonderful!

The best thing was the manger, Mohammed. He made absolute certain that our trip was comfortable (including providing gluten-free bread-Thanks for that), he was there when we needed help with the door lock, and we found him to be profession, friendly, approachable. Not just an excellent worker, but an excellent human being. Everything else was good. The laundry machines were greatly appreciated.

    I was taking part in walk the ✝️ and got soaked by the rain ,when I arrived at Laurel Lodge I was greeted with hot tea and a big slice of homemade apple tart Marie also offered to put my clothes in dryer,,better still Eamon her husband dropped me into the village of Shannon Bridge for a few pints in a great bar called Killens and picked me up later ,overall a memorable and happy experience staying in Laurel Lodge
